Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

You can provide information to us on our Site through various means. The information we collect includes personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, and the like.

We may collect certain information automatically as you use our Site, including your Internet Protocol address, browser type, computer type, operating system version, type of mobile device (if used), location data (if available), the site from which you navigated to our Site, time and date of using the Site, pages on our Site that you view, as well as other miscellaneous information. When you visit our Site one or more “cookies” may be sent to your computer or other device. A cookie is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a website. When you visit the website again, the cookie allows that site to recognize your browser. Cookies may store unique identifiers, user preferences and other information. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some website features or services may not function properly without cookies. We use cookies to improve the quality of our service, including for storing user preferences, tracking user trends and providing relevant advertising to you. These cookies may persist on your computer after you visit our site, and some may expire shortly after you leave the Site.

We may use “pixel tags,” also known as “web beacons,” which are small graphic files that allow us to monitor the use of our websites. A pixel tag can collect information such as the Internet Protocol address of the computer that downloaded the page on which the tag appears; the URL of the page on which the pixel tag appears; the time the page containing the pixel tag was viewed; the type of browser that fetched the pixel tag; and the identification number of any cookie on the computer previously placed by that server. When corresponding with you via HTML capable email, we may use “format sensing” technology, which allows pixel tags to let us know whether you received and opened our email.

We may use your information to contact you and to provide relevant interest-based advertising to you. We may share your information with third parties outside of the Company to fulfill requests or orders made to the Company (for example, to ship an order) and to provide such information to our trusted third party vendors. Unless you ask us not to by notifying us at info@RPSdetectors.com, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Site. We may also share information when we have a good faith belief it is necessary to prevent fraud or other illegal activity, to prevent imminent bodily harm, or to prevent harm to the Company, the Site, or our customers. This may include sharing information with other companies, lawyers, courts, or other government entities.

We may also share your personally identifiable information, as well as communications and sales records regarding you or your commercial relationship with the Company, to comply with regulatory or contractual requirements associated with the Company’s business. This may include, but is not limited to, provision of sales records and communications to governmental entities or regulators for government review and audit purposes, without prior notice to you that the Company is providing information to a regulatory agency or government entity.

If the ownership of all or substantially all of our business changes or we otherwise transfer assets relating to our business or the Site to a third party, we may transfer your personal information to the new owner to be used consistent with this Privacy Policy. In such a case, your information would remain subject to the promises made in the applicable privacy policy.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. However, since the Internet is not a secure environment, we cannot guarantee, ensure, or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. It is your responsibility to protect the security of your information. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), we use a third party provider, NetSuite, Inc., as our payment processing and customer relationship management database. Your information is entered into their servers and we rely on their expertise to secure your data. If you are entering your own information into the Company’s web portal, you can verify the security provided by NetSuite, Inc. by looking for a closed lock icon on your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use NetSuite, Inc. to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers and servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post a revised version of our Privacy Policy on our Site, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we may disclose it. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. The revisions will apply to information collected after the date it is posted on our home page.
