
Thomas Orsini earned BS and MS degrees from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and an MBA from Farleigh Dickinson University, with additional executive studies at Harvard and Wharton. He has been in the medical device and diagnostics industry for 30+ years, from start-ups to multi-billion dollar organizations. He has successfully demonstrated the ability to establish and build new organizations. Mr. Orsini has experience in technology and engineering, marketing, sales and business development activities including establishing joint ventures, acquisitions and divestitures, and establishing U.S. and international distribution and license agreements.

Robert Sambursky, MD earned his BA in Biology from Brown University in 1994, a Master of Arts in Medical Science from Boston University School of Medicine in 1996 and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 2000. He completed his medical internship at Mount Auburn Hospital and completed both his ophthalmology residency and cornea fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has co-authored numerous articles in various medical journals. Dr. Sambursky remains an active clinical physician with multiple practices in the Sarasota area.

Robert W. VanDine earned a BS in Engineering from the US Naval Academy in 1973. From 1996 to 2007, Mr. VanDine served as President of Securetec Contraband Detection and Identification, Inc., the US-subsidiary of Securetec. As such, he was responsible for the manufacture and marketing of lateral flow chromatography biosensors for security, law enforcement and medical device markets. Since 2007, Mr. VanDine has led the U.S. Government contracting efforts for RPS.
J. Scott Womble earned his BS degree in Accounting from Indiana University in 1982 and is a Certified Public Accountant. He has worked in financial and administrative management and leadership roles for diverse organizations, from start-ups to multi-billion dollar public and private international companies. His experience covers a variety of industries, including technology, insurance, manufacturing, transportation, logistics, and the biotech/medical supplies arenas, with past responsibility for finance, human resources, contracts administration, payroll, risk management, and information technology.

Uma Mahesh Babu, Ph.D. earned his Doctorate degree in Chemistry from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He did his post-doctoral fellowship in Immunology at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. He served as a Research Associate Professor at Thomas Jefferson University in the department of Biochemistry. Additionally, he has been a Director in Research and Development at both small and large companies such as Empyrean Diagnostics, ChemTrak and Johnson & Johnson.
Dr. Babu has successfully developed several rapid Point of Care tests in both the human and veterinary arenas. He has expertise in developing immunoassays and bioassays from conception though feasibility studies, development, QA/QC, commercialization and technical support. He has coauthored several scientific publications and has presented papers at both national and international conferences.
Douglas Bueschel earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Almeda University and is a member of the Regulatory Professional Society. During the past 30 years he has been involved with the market introduction of multiple first-of-a-kind products such as surgical robotics and CT imaging/MRI technology. Mr. Bueschel has gained extensive experience and expertise in the Quality and Regulatory arenas for manufacturing, new product introduction, clinical studies and both FDA and international product approvals. Working closely with the FDA and other international regulatory agencies, he guides the process for product approvals and compliance to standards required for the safe and effective use of medical products.
